Fairline Turbo 36 Fuel Tank Replacement

Post by jtate7 » Thu Dec 19, 2019 10:19 pm

I have a Fairline Turbo 36 which needs to have the port fuel tank replaced due to a leak. Does anyone know of a good company/Engineer who would be able to undertake this at a reasonable cost. I am based in Portsmouth. Any advice will be really appreciated?

Apologies, I can't help with a recommendation but don't know if the following is of any help.
As you're no doubt aware, the port tank is the worse side and the only way of removing it is to remove an engine, or remove the woodwork in the saloon to enable it to be lifted out.
Neither option will be cheap, but removal of the furniture would be the more cost effective way, provided you can find somebody that can do the work and rebuild what was there to a suitable standard.

Good luck!
