Fairline 19 windscreen & Age?

Post by Bob Gilbert » Wed Aug 08, 2007 5:40 pm

i have owned a Fairline 19 for about 5 years now & it is a cracking little boat, Powerd by a Yamaha 30 outboard. i have been doing it up since the day i bought it!

Now problem is the windscreen has gone the way of most perspex windscreens & is coverd in tiny cracks & going opaque. It is the single piece one with the curves ether side. i know there is a gentlrman in manchester who makes these windscreens, but i live in Kent! i don't mind the drive, but it would be easier if i could find someone nearer home.
Doe's anyone know any where in the southeast i could get this done??

Also there is a plate on the bulkhead near the helm with a number ( i asume build number). Anyone know what it means (19482)?

Bob (happy 19 owner!)[/b]

Hi all again!
Seems people read post's but don't reply!!

I've spoken to Ernie in Manchester & he is unable to help me at the moment so if anyone knows of somewhere local it would be helpful!

Hi Bob
I know it's a while ago now, but did you get your windscreen made? We need a new one for our Family 19 Fairline.
