Targa 48 GT 2014 fuel tank equalising issues

Postby beefeater » Sun Oct 07, 2018 8:26 am

Hey there is anyone in a 2013 - current squadron or Targa experiencing fuel equalising issues?. Leave dock with full tanks. Starboard tank slurps twice as quick as port tank. 1hr later at 18knts steady there is a entire 1/4 tank difference. Port is 1/8th gone and starboard is 1/3 gone! Have lunch for an hour. On startup theres no difference in guages. SteM back and difference is slightly worse.
Takes almost 7hrs to level out... no genset used or anything. Equal revs.
I dont have a fuel burn gauge so am unsure of actual usage.
Thinking cross over pipes could be too small? But then everyone would have this issue...
Any help out there?

Hi,
is the valve of the fuel return pipe switched in the way, that every engine gives the fuel back in its (separate) tank? Or fills the fuel return pipe from both engines one tank?
