Targa 34, canopy and saloon bed?

Postby zno » Thu Jun 07, 2018 7:39 pm

Hi,

Happy owner of a newly bought Fairline Targa 34, 2006! :)

Still trying to figure some things out and there's two things I need some help understanding.

The first is the front canopy. How is this supposed to be stored in the raised position? I see that there are pushbuttons on the targa bar, and I guess they are for some kind of canopy cover? Unfortunately I don't have the cover so I was wondering if someone has a picture or description of how this should work?

The other thing is how to make up the bed in the saloon. I can push the table down to allow for some type of infill cushion, but unfortunately I don't have one. Thinking of making my own but it would be very helpful to see some pictures of how the cushion is made up.

Thanks in advance!

Excellent taste!

My Targa 34 has a modified hood where you can roll up the front canopy windows and either strap them rolled up or zip them into a pocket in the front of the bimini. I don't know how the OEM covers work.

Regarding the saloon infill, I'll take some pics and measurements when I'm on board next week.

Pete

Hi ZNO,

You're not by any chance in Chichester are you? Boat very similar to yours was on the hard last weekend, just up from our 2003 T34, which is having the outdrives re-built.

Anyway, I'm on her Friday, if Pete hasn't managed to get any pics across of the cushion, I'll get some to you.

Best,

Shaun

Sorry, late answer, but thanks Shaun. And no, I'm not in Chichester. I'm in Stockholm :)
