Hiya - congrats on your new boat. Shooting Star looks fabulous - Ish she the shaft drive or sterndrive version?

Did you have any luck finding your rubbing strake? I also need a new one for my Sunfury - not the main one, but the strake that goes round the bathing platform - think it's the same size. Would be interested to hear if you were successful. Thanks. Barry.

Am I missing something? Also, I checked out the site for the 'Great lake' davit...

Club Cruises

Just wondering whether there are any club cruises planned in the near future, or if not, whether any members fancy doing an informal 'cruise in company'.

Too few posts

It seems a shame that there are so few posts on this site. Could it be that the site (and club) are not publicised enough? I only heard of the site through someone posting me anout it on the MBY site. Maybe a bit more publicity on that site (where there are loads of postings every day) would help? I...

Trip to Cornwall

Am hoping to do a trip to Mylor Yacht Harbour (near Falmouth) from the Hamble before Autumn ends and Winter sets in. If you haven't been there, Mylor is superb with a wonderful restaurant and it's a great trip down from here. Wife not to keen to go, so will have space for a couple of crew and would ...

Thanks for your reply - will go to the Peters site and sign up. Yes, I really like the Sunfury - it seems an excellent sea boat and is in great condition given its age (1985). I hope to re-power her at the end of the season with new deisels and then enjoy some extended cruising. I appreciate you get...

I was interested to see your posting about the Fairline cruise. I have recently become a Fairline owner (1985 Sunfury) and would like to know how I can get involved in cruise like this. Could you let me know - thanks.
