Squadron 55 / 60

Hi,
Does anyone know what the difference is between the later Squadron 55 and the Squadron 60? (apart from the obvious...…)
Is the 60 a re boot of the 55 using the same hull? Essentially they appear to be the same fit out?
Thanks

Phantom 50 shower sump pump fuse

Hi all, Just replaced the sump pump for the shower (one of those pre assembled jobs that look like an ice cream box) and I think I blew an in line fuse. The breaker that controls the sump pump also controls the water pump and that's fine but I've now got no power to the sump pump. So I'm guessing th...

Re: Phantom 50 - D12's

Can't believe this conversation was a year ago! well we bought her and she's been perfect.
I'm thinking of changing the anodes and cleaning the hull whilst she's in the water (i'm a diver). Any thoughts?
Oh and anyone know where they are and how many?
Cheers guys

Phantom 50 - D12's

Hi all, I'm looking at a 2006 Phantom 50 fitted with D12's with 1000 hours on them. I've been through the paperwork and the service record is fautless - serviced every year by the same dealer and supported with a full sea trial report after each service. I'm aware that there is a major service now d...

Re: Targa 40 - KAD300 Supercharger

Thanks for the reply Magician. I've checked all the levels and they are fine. The engineer spotted the supercharger leak when he serviced the engines and attempted to seal it with gasket sealant. It didn't work, however I have since removed the cover, cleaned the surfaces and re sealed it and its al...

Targa 40 - KAD300 Supercharger

Hi all, I posted this yesterday but it doesn't seem to have appeared so I'm posting again, apologies if it appears twice. I have a 2002 Targa 40 with twin KAD300's. They have just been fully serviced (not by Volvo but by an ex Volvo engineer) Now I have a leak from the joint between the supercharger...

Leather Upholstery

Hi all,

I own a 2002 Targa 40 and am thinking about replacing the upholstery in a good quality leather. I can't see too much of an issue internally but anyone had any experience of using leather outside (ie for the helm seat etc?

Cheers

Re: Targa 40 Hood

Thanks for the reply Steve. We tried doing exactly that but the canvas seems to tight to fold back with the frame? Presumably the vertical support rods need to be released also?

Targa 40 Hood

Hi, we recently upgraded to a Targa 40 from a Targa 30 and can't seem to find any info on the operation of the covers. Do the covers and frame have to come right off to have the boat open or is there a way to fold it all away against the radar arch?
Thanks
