hi, i find the throttle very stiff, particulary in reverse, on the port engine. this is only when it is in gear, as they are quite smooth, with the button pressed in and out of gear. any ideas please ?

i have a 1985 targa 33 with volvo penta engines . they are diesels and one will not start.it isnt turning over at all. batteries are new.can hear a faint click when trying to start but no sign of it trying to start.any ideas please.
