These are all Good boats, and I guess those who change shortly after buying just didn?t buy the boat for their (and there regular crews) needs. Who?s going to be using the boat with you and what did you want from boating i.e. day boating, weekends away for two or 2 week cruise?s over the channel wit...

Re: Engine access hatch - misbehaving gas strut.

Does the problem also stop the trim tabs working? [quote="amiller"]The door to our engine compartment has become stuck in the raised position. Our Fairline Targa 30 has an access door to the engine room. This is connected via some system so that it can be raised and lowered from a switch at the helm...

Spares

Does anyone know where you can get the wire mesh insect covers that sit in front of the windows (Sorry, port holes!)

I?m guessing that you can just replace them by un-screwing the frames?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I spent a lot of last year looking for a Targa 34 (Which was to be my first boat also) until a chap convinced me to look at his Targa 37, not sure if you?ve seen one yet? ? After seeing it I didn?t look at another 34 ? Not because there bad boats just because the accommodation inside seemed to offer...

I recently had the blue band cut back to remove a slight chalkiness - I would say it depends on how serious it is. The only down side is - it seems that the Blue gellcoat has tiny bubbles in it and so when you cut it back, as the blue it so thin it exposes the bubbles (The best way to explain this w...

Cutting out the light - Targa 37?

Not sure what you call them - screens, covers, blinds, but I was looking to get covers for the roof hatches to block out light going into the fore cabin and the saloon via the ceiling. Also would like a cover for the cockpit door leading into the saloon. I've seen solutions with press studs and Velc...
